Expressing sorrow as we continue to reflect …in Remembrance of 241 service members who lost their lives when at 0622, a suicide truck bomb battered our Marine Barracks (BLT HQ) collapsing the building near the Beirut airport. The massive explosions aftermath resulted with 220 of our very own “Once & Always” perishing along with 18 Sailors of the US Navy and three Soldiers of the US Army while stationed there. Not since Iwo Jima was the loss of life in a single day so great. May their souls continue to Rest in Peace. “til ValHalla.”
