In Memoriam: The solemn ceremony is a timeless reminder leading to the catastrophic events nearly eight decades ago, in observing the 80th Remembrance to the bombing on Japan's Hiroshima: on August 6th & Nagasaki: on August 9th, respectively for the lives lost & the survivors (Hibakusha). 2025 . SAKURA Tree Planting Ceremony in the playlot of the Chicago Park District near the Magnificent Mile. A Cherry Blossom tree will be planted “In Memoriam” to the Children and their caregivers.
