This December 7 the Union League Club of Chicago, Armed Forces Council of Chicago, Chicago Navy Memorial Foundation, and the USS HYMAN G. RICKOVER Commissioning Committee will remember the world changing event known as Pearl Harbor Day, or as President Franklin D. Roosevelt said in his December 8, 1941 speech declaring war on Japan, “a date which will live in infamy”. On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, the Club will host a luncheon to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
