September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

Local Chicago MARINEs joins with various Mil-service Branch units, veteran organizations and community groups as each continues to help share social and mental health programs that raise awareness in addressing this devastating silent concern.   To encourage hope, engage with your associates in active dialog, connect with them and most importantly follow-up with buddy checks regularly.

Always keep the National Suicide & Crisis Life-line #988 available.

Lastly, for your reading pleasure we have included Links (see below) on two feature stories on an important PTS(d) issue directly impacting this months awareness, as told first-hand from one of our very locally own, the Few, the Proud, the Marine Colonel Patty Klop, USMC, Ret.
